My Dark Tessellations necklace design is a prime example of my creative process.
I was originally drawn to this unique strand of pearls yet had no design in mind for them. Months later, I rediscovered them and experimented with their interesting shape. I was inspired by their natural diamond shape and how they effortlessly "tessellated" with each other. After a few hours of further creative exploring, Dark Tessellations came to be a personal favorite.
Made with dyed black diamond-shaped pearls -- they were not cut or altered, they were double cultured to achieve this diamond shape!
